2004 Highlights:

• Through the Showcase West Virginia social enterprise, provided markets and related training and resources to nearly 300 small scale manufacturers who reside in communities across West Virginia.

• Co-hosted the Made Right Here: West Virginia Small Scale Manufacturing Summit with U.S. Senator Jay Rockefeller and the Discover the Real West Virginia Foundation.

• Released The Importance of Small Manufacturing Firms: A Policy Review. This study was prepared for CEO by Michael J. Hicks, Ph.D, Center for Business and Economic Research – Marshall University.

• Coordinated a three-day Showcase West Virginia Anniversary Celebration to mark the first year of the store’s operation in the “new” space at Charleston Town Center Mall. Thanked donors and volunteers and provided marketing opportunities for Showcase West Virginia participants.
