The W. K.
Kellogg Foundation has announced that “Advantage Valley” is the recipient
of a $2 million grant for the creation of a entrepreneruship development
system. The Center for Economic Options (CEO) is one of three
organizations along with Advantage Valley, and the Vision Shared
Entreprenuership Committee that will lead a larger collaboration that
includes regional, state, and local entities that serve and educate
entrepreneurs.
The grant will promote entrepreneurial activity in the
eleven-county Advantage Valley region and produce

Showcase West
Virginia is an innovative
access-to-markets program sponsored by the Center for Economic Options
(CEO). Serving small-scale enterprises, Showcase West Virginia provides
markets for a wide-range of high quality West Virginia-made products. CEO
moved the Showcase West Virginia
retail store out of the Charleston Town Center Mall in April, and will
re-establish the store in downtown Charleston as part of a city-wide re-development effort in
